Pick Your Own Blueberries!

BY APPOINTMENT ONLY!

YES, we will have some pick your own blueberries. Please call so that we may work out a time for you to come when we can be available.

The prices are as follows for the 2009 season:

Pre-picked at the market: $4 per half-pint or 2 for $7.00

1 1/2 lb. box for $9.00

Pre-picked gallons- $25.00

U-Pick gallons- $17.00

We do realize that you can pick berries cheaper elsewhere, but they are conventionally grown and it takes time to drive there. Whereas conventional growers can just spend a few dollars poisoning their weeds, we pay hundreds of dollars a year just in labor costs to keep ours under control. And then there is the labor cost to get them picked unless I do it all myself!! (which is just not gonna happen-SMILE) WOW!! It is a learning experience. But we hope you will learn along with us about being certified organic and enjoy our blueberries. We do want to give you good food for as little as we possibly can.--Freida
